23.12.15the apartment is a 8-10mins walk from the Atocha station, makes it convenient for those who arrive at Madrid via train. The staff from charming Reina is really responsive and prompt, they provide a reply to any queries very quickly and go the extra mile to email some details to me as the security of Agoda does not allow links to be sent to customers.
Some dampers of this experience is the cumbersome-ness of the check in process, customer has to go into another app to enter personal details, pay a security deposit before the key instructions are provided to the person. The security deposit can only be made on D day, makes it troublesome for travelers who are on to go or do not have good data connection. It was frustrating as the data connection in the area was poor and the app cannot be loaded. I was held up for 30mins outside the apartment just to access the app. Suggest the management to look into streamlining the check in process. For the amenities, the room heater was old and was not heating enough even at 30 degrees Celsius. The bed was old (spring type) and small and it creaked whenever there is any movement which disturbed my sleep.
Suggest management give a face lift to the amenities.
