25.10.22Affordable place to stay. It is a 7 minute walk from Shonai Station, and takes around 30 min to get to Osaka station from there.
Staff was nice and can speak English.
25.03.31I spent 3 nights here during my trip in Japan and have never felt so at home! It’s very small, however this means you become friends with literally everyone staying there! There’s 2 common room spaces which were great! I also was put into a little attic-style room in the dormitory, meaning I had my own private space and could lock my belongings up for safety. The owner is the loveliest person- he was always asking what my plans were and giving advice, and always up for a chat! He also hosted a sake night on Friday night, and every morning made tea and coffee for everyone, and was constantly giving out little snacks and biscuits! It was a little outside the city centre, but the closest metro line was only 10 min walk away literally down one straight road, so very simple, and the train runs until really late. It was a more residential area so a lot quieter (which I liked!) and very Japanese restaurants and cafes around as there weren’t many other tourists nearby. I 100% recommend this hostel, I had a great time! :)
24.12.15I chose it bcoz I wanted to be in the suburbs 😀, tested it for a night and would extend if I liked it. But nope, not for me, there was an oil stove/heater, yes thst is right 😀. It smelled really strong, I could not sleep properly. Other than that the place okayand the staff was great [typical Japanese hospitality].
24.11.28Pleasant time there.
