25.01.20Very nice and colourful hotel with lovely set up and furniture, good staff and good breakfast, the only thing is the distance from the old quarter, i guess because it is an office area but apart from that 10/10
24.12.23 I stayed at Smarana Hanoi Heritage recently and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The hotel’s location was inconvenient, situated too far from the main areas of interest in Hanoi. This made it difficult to explore the city and required additional time and expense for transportation.
Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that I had to climb stairs with my luggage to reach the lobby, which was quite inconvenient. The room itself had some issues, most notably the towels provided had holes in them, indicating a lack of attention to detail and quality.
One of the most significant problems was the unexpected construction next door, which the hotel failed to disclose prior to my stay. The noise from drilling and hammering started as early as 6:30 AM, making it impossible to rest or relax in the room.
The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. The staff seemed inattentive and unresponsive to guests’ needs. The coffee served was cold, and the food wasn’t replenished in a timely manner, leaving limited options for late arrivals.
While I understand that every hotel has its challenges, the combination of these issues significantly impacted my stay. I would advise potential guests to carefully consider their options before booking this hotel, especially if they value a convenient location, peaceful environment, and attentive service.
