25.03.14When correcting the payment information, the website changed the days on us. It wasnt until the room was booked we saw the date, tried to move the date and was told that wasnt an option. I had to pay for another nights stay to be able to have a place for the night.
The evening front desk attendant was more than helpful, kind, and professional. The morning attendant had me in tears. Everything was a battle and i felt i couldn’t do right, even when just trying to switch my laundry real quick before feeding my child. I wasnt allowed to set my food down in order to change it, and was charged more than the posted amount for laundry detergent. On top of having already been treated poorly and my child was coughing through the hall from the cigarette smoke wafting down from the open door where she was smoking. I understand having a rough time with past guests or even having a bad day, but irregardless had i been in her shoes i wouldn't treat my guests in the way i was treated. I just needed refuge and was met with a battle at mostly every step.
The housekeepers were more than helpful and kind to us when we asked for accommodations. When we asked for extra towels and thanked them the gratitude shown to me was amazing and helped lift my mood. I even got a compliment on my cool T-shirt. Every other member of staff was more than accommodating but unfortunately due to the other service as well as the hotel itself not switching my room it was the most pleasant experience I've had at a hotel.
