25.12.30 The room had a tub that wouldn't drain properly so at the end of a shower I was standing in 6" of water. Then, the toilet leaked and ran all night. Shht Shht Shht all night.
Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal and bread. I would have liked toast, but the toaster only warmed the bread. It wasn't an issue of not enough time or heat setting. Even when dialed right up, it wasn't hot enough.
This is an old *** and in need of upgrades. The chain cancelled my paid reservation without telling me, so I couldn't check in. The clerk was unsympathetic and even a bit rude. I didn't want to drive anymore so paid again to stay the night. I wish I had gone somewhere else.
24.07.22 We reserved 2 rooms. In one room we found a bed bug on a pillow. We took a picture of it. The proprietor claimed we'd taken the picture from somewhere else. We showed the cell phone was date and time stamped. The other room's TV didn't work even though that room was clean and no bedbugs. The proprietor made no effort to get the TV working. We will never go to that motel again.
