INAKATEI

I can't recommend this Kyoto ryokan enough! First and foremost, the hostess is an amazing and friendly woman who was so sweet and accommodating. Of course, the ryokan itself was charming, traditional, clean, efficient, and in a wonderful location. When you reserve, you actually reserve a "wing" or space beyond just your tamami room itself. It's like you have a suite to yourself. It's amazing!

Our host was above and beyond. And the stay was exactly what we had hoped for in a Ryokan. Would 100% stay here again.

Situated on Ishibei Koji lane, the most picturesque street in Kyoto, the location is fantastic. You’re a stone’s throw away from Ninenzaka, Sannenzaka, and Kiyomizu-dera, and a little further away (but within walking distance) Gion. The owner is lovely and takes great care of her guests. Don’t expect the facilities of a regular hotel, as this is a traditional Japanese ryokan. Keeping that in mind, my stay was exceedingly pleasant and I would stay here again.

기요미즈데라도 야사카신사도 가까운 위치적으로는 더할나위 없는 최고의 위치에 있음. 또한 일본식 전통 가옥의 시대감을 느끼며 풍경을 감상하는것 또한 가능. 조식도 계절감을 느낄 수 있는 메뉴로 구성되어있어서 돈을 지불하더라도 후회는 전혀 없음.

I recently stayed at Ryokan Inakatei and had a wonderful experience. The woman who runs it was extremely kind and accommodating. The room, while cozy, was very clean and quite beautiful. And it's located very close to a lot of great spots. Definitely would recommend.
