26.03.10Very quirky hotel really loved it hose was very attentive would stay again
26.02.04Not a great stay at La Villa,
Firstly, I had to pay at reception on checking in. I booked through Agoda and, always previously 10 or 15 times), Agoda took the money. The receptionist quoted the wrong price. 94k Dong more than agreed. I had to find receipt before he believed me.
Then went to room 208 on second floor. No elevator. Key card did not work. Luckily maid was there and let me in and went to get new keycard. So it was a little dark as no electricity. Went to put on slippers only to put my socked feet into half an inch of cold water. The room was half flooded, presumably from leaving the window open with the heavy rain.
Maid returned with new key card and mopped up the water. I then tripped closing the window on two broken and sticking up floor tiles. A real health hazard, especially for children. Put the lights on but it seemed only about half of the 12 or so light bulbs were working. Again a sign of poor maintenance.
There is a kettle (which I couldn’t plug in without assistance!) two cups and a tea pot. But no tea, coffee or sugar etc. two bottles of water were left and there is a refrigerator.
Bathroom was okay. Classy brass shower fittings. But honestly this was the only quality item in the room. Hot water tap didn’t function in sink but brass shower did have hot water. It is NOT a walk-in shower, so water goes onto the bathroom floor around the toilet. Two tiny sachets of shampoo left and two toothbrushes but no soap. Two large and two small towels left. One had several red, possibly blood or rust, stains on it, which I would not use. The second towel seemed okay.
Aircon worked well. Lots of hanging space for clothes. Bed was comfortable and clean… a large double.
Breakfast was adequate. An omelette with two small pieces of bread and fruit. Excellent coffee. My understanding was breakfast would have a far greater choice… When I messaged the hotel days before arrival, they indicated that a buffet would be available or ‘full English breakfast’. Perhaps a language issue as I only speak English and the hotel seems mainly of Russian speakers.
Also breakfast is only available after 9am. Fine for me but much later than almost all the hotels I have stayed in in Nha Trang. This is the seventh hotel I have stayed in on the past six weeks. They all started breakfast at 6 or 6.30am.
There was a lot of noise around my room. I could hear people shouting in Korean and Russian until 1am. Sound-proofing is not good but maybe I was just unlucky with neighbours on the day I was there (3-4 Feb 2026)
Overall, not a happy stay at La Villa and I doubt I will return.
25.10.31The hotel is very clean and conveniently located. In the city center, you should be prepared for a bit of disturbing noise, but I was very satisfied with everything else. I highly recommend it.
25.07.28felt like a deceptive bait-and-switch tactic, where customers are drawn in by affordable rates, only to be forced into paying much higher prices upon arrival. I had no prior notice of any room unavailability, and the confirmed booking should have guaranteed the room I reserved
25.07.22Last-minute to find this hotel, good location easy to move around and local food outlets just Infront the hotel , WiFi is not strong maybe I am staying at the end, stay one night and booked transport next morning from hotel to airport cost 400,000 Vnd .
