25.04.05This accommodation was just the second hotel I’ve stayed in in Southeast Asia, I’ve used very cheap hostels for the last 2 months, yet somehow this was by far the worst experience. Firstly, when I arrived, the receptionist (who had a really uncaring attitude) informed me that the room that I booked was not available and I would have to pay what worked out to be 73% more per night. When I got to this room, there was no noticeable difference between it and the room I had arranged to be in, despite costing almost twice as much. Ok, not the end of the world; but then I realised how dirty and disgusting the room actually was. Numerous stains on the bedsheets, hairs on the beds and the counter, and remains of improperly wiped-off food on the counter and floor. The safe also just didn’t open and the receptionist wouldn’t help me with it. And they don’t give you towels. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
