25.12.22I staid at the hotel for 4 days in December with my 2 girls (18 and 22). We enjoyed the tranquil environment and the surrounding greenery, the beautiful lagoon and the golf course. The pool is very nice, directly facing the lagoon, there is also a lap pool and a children pool with small slides. The greenery is very well kept and we loved the fact that this is a low rise hotel, which gives an uphand resort vibe. The checkin hall is a bit dated and it would benefit of a renovation, but the staff is kind and attentive. We arrived early in the morning and despite the check-in time is set at 3pm, they managed to give us a room by 12.30 pm. It was the perfect room, a standard twin, 3rd floor, at the very end of the building, room 1340. We loved it because it faces the mountains and the lagoon in front and the golf course on the right side. It was very quiet and we enjoyed very much the balcony seating. The room is very spacious with 2 twin beds and a big bathroom with both a shower and a lovely selfstanding bathtub. The room was very clean and it was equipped with everything you may need. There are also many villas available spread on the big property and it's reallly pleasant walk along the pathways flanking the villas. The breakfast buffet was abundant, with lots of choices both westener and Chinese. The soup with pork damplings was one of my favourite dishes together with the bread pudding and the braised tofu. To benefit of this quiet and green environment, the resort isn't obviously along the beach where most of the big chains high rise hotels are, but you can easily reach the beach or the main Yatai Food Street with a very cheap 5m taxi ride. Despite this resort is definitively older than most of the big hotels near the beach, I am really glad that I picked this, it was the perfect choice for us, and I would surely go back there again.
