26.05.30Small rooms yet convenient and clean. The location to Paddington station is ideal, staff friendly and will to assist. The only drawback would be ‘ if on the 3rd floor no lifts making carrying suitcase harder. Staff willing to assist with luggage
26.05.25Close to locations for tourist
26.05.22It’s only the bad things is the room is very very small and the staff are good but some are not friendly
26.05.14After a nightmare train journey due to incident on the line involving human being hit, we had to be redirected via Sheffield then Nottingham. By time we arrived 2 hrs later than we should have, we were greeted by a lovely receptionist. However, that was the best but about this hotel. I asked for a ground floor room due to mobility issues in my knees to find we were given a room on the second floor which involved 4 flights of 10 steps. This nearly killed me especially as there was no lift on this side of the building but was on the other side. We got in the room and it was so small I could put my hand on the sink and touch the hanging space. The bathroom door touched the bed and the bed was fit to 3 sides of the wall so whoever slept next to wall had to climb over the other person then squish up against bedside cabinet to open bathroom frosted glass shower door acting as a door to then close said door and anyone on the toilet could be viewed and heard through the glass as it literally was a Shower door. If the door was ajar I could have literally held hands with the person on the bed. It was disgusting and degrading to know my husband could hear and see me on the toilet and vice versa. The sink to wash hands were in the outside of the bathroom attached to the wall of makeshift bathroom which literally had enough room to stand in front of toilet and shower. The kettle etc was inside the hanging space where there was also an iron and mini board that had to go across the sink or on the bed. The only place to plug anything is was at the side of the bed above bedside cabinet. So the kettle had to go on the right side of the sink and an extension lead of 4 plugs had to plug in at bedside then trail across the floor across bathroom door and then behind the taps of the sink across to the kettle. This was not only a trip hazard but also a health and safety hazard using a electric kettle next to the sink. There was a fridge under the sink which was handy and a hairdryer attached to the wall above the fridge but again would need the extension cord to use and the mirror was also full length if the sink unit. Only one person could get dressed or pack unpack etc at my one time or someone was gonna get a black eye. This cost me £***188 for 2 nights room only. I've been in many London hotels that have cost less but had breakfast and spacious rooms included. We will never use this broom cupboard for rooms gain. The only up side was the bed was large and comfortable, but it was literally a box room and the bathroom looked like it was once a built in wardrobe. If it had a single bed it would have been ok but for a double it was a joke. However it was very clean and stuff lovely. Whoever owns this hotel should be ashamed of themselves. And health and safety need informing.
26.05.08Room was clean but small as expected.
Lower floor meant basement, traveller with heavy luggages beware.
The worst part is we stayed there 4 nights and came back with our door left unlocked every single night. Notifying the front office didnt help at all. The front office staff was polite and seemed embarrassed about the issue. Felt unsafe after the first night had to bring most of our valuables with us in fear of being stolen.
