26.02.10Amazing staff, good location and the best part is the complimentary dinner and breakfast with the view of Chuzenji lake. I would recommend this to the couples or families who are celebrating their special occasions. I would love to stay here again on our next visit in Nikko.
25.11.21 We decided to stay here with my girlfriend during our stay in Chuzenji and it was the best decision! The accommodation fulfilled our expectations, it was clean, had lots of space. The private bath that we could book for free was also really amazing! And the highlight of our stay was the dinner at the pension, which was one of my favourite dinners in Japan during my stay, I have never had such a high quality dinner in a pension! I would highly recommend Chuzenji Pension for others!

25.11.03 Our plan included both dinner and breakfast which was great as it was convenient , and dininaWe room is nicely decorated. We were there in early Nov on a long weekend, and it was crowded. The leaves were turning yellow, and orange, and red . The last 6km of the journey going up the lake took 2 hours- no accident , just a lot of cars going slowly.
The room was of decent size, futon and tatami were clean and looked new. The ofuro needed to be booked by session, per room- instead of the usual men/ women in different facilities. Only 2 persons are allowed / can fit into the bath. The staff were very kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend this pension.
