26.04.23Staff is very friendly to foreigners, they have staff that could speak English so it helps a lot. Room wise also very clean and nice experience of wafu style room, the onsen are quite normal , male and female onsen will intwr switch but i expect more from onsen hotel (they looked almost the same). Overall worth trying once in a life
25.10.12 The highlight for me were the staffs, they seem genuinely caring and had wonderful smiles. 2 occasions stood out to me - we had to keep our shoes by the main entrance and had to keep a label, but I never had to show it because every staff seemed to have memorised our faces and prepare our shoes before we even asked. Second, during check-out we told the lady we're heading to Shima Onsen, and she recommended Shima Lake, which I did not add into my itinerary. Well, I took the tip and that was the best decision ever.
However as a ryokan I felt that the cost was a bit steep (with no meals) and while we had a nice bathtub in the room, I avoided using it due to some green stains.
It will be tough without a car as well as it is atop the hill.
24.11.22 I loved Omori! Everything has a kind of nostalgic feel being just a bit old but with enough modern creature comforts, like heater/ac, to be very comfortable. The staff was so lovely. Very genki and accommodating. The food was great. Onsen hot and beautiful. Everything was just lovely. I wish I could have stayed longer.

23.03.30 Excellent menus. great roof top onsen, Only mnus is pre and post bath space is very sall. Wonderful staff. I would return.
