Great thing about the stay is that we can onsen hop to the much newer and bigger onsen of its sister hotel via their shuttle car on demand as long as it’s before 10pm.

"I had an incredible stay! The outdoor bath (rotenburo) at sunrise is so beautiful and romantic—the view of the sea as the sun comes up is unforgettable. The dinner was delicious, especially the seabream rice soup (Tai-meshi). It was so flavorful and definitely the highlight of the meal. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!"

We had breakfast and dinner included in our accommodation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the delicious meals. They serve different dishes local to the area and everything is fresh and tasty. We had an opportunity to try the tomonoura cider which is local to this area. It is delicious. I’ve had 5 bottles during my stay. I also had the beauty services offered at the sister hotel and felt very relaxed after the visit. They offer free shuttle to the fukuyama station. So can get picked up from the station to the hotel. The staff were courtesy and welcoming. I recommend highly recommend this hotel.

The bath facilities were top notch thanks to the amazing outdoor view The staff speak great English and are also super helpful unlike many other hotels in Japan Location is rather remote hence the wonderful views. There is a bus stop just around the corner but I would only come back if we had a rental car to use again.
