First Experience with APA Hotel, It was a pleasant stay!

The location of this hotel is very good if you're planning to visit the marked locations on the Niigata Loop Bus and majority of the attractions and dining are on this side of the river. We took 6 mins to walk to Furumachidori for breakfast, then it was another short walk to the 5th stop of the Loop Bus. We did not use any of the extra facilities, and the room was satisfactory.

バス停のそば　交通の便が良い。白山神社や新潟県民会館を訪問する際には最適。部屋にスティックコーヒーが有り嬉しかったです。スタッフの皆さん明るく印象が良く安心して過ごせる。

I thought it was just any other APA Hotel Branch so I was expecting it to be a "budget hotel". It exceeded my expectations especially when we were offered free amenities that were not even part of what we paid for! One setback, however, is when we requested to have a non-smoking room but still stayed in one. It was manageable though because the staff gave us an air purifier to cleanse the smell.

Location for everything, felt all is walking distance, if your jumping from area to area. However, do realize the station is walking distance, 30 min, and if you are carrying luggage, I don't recommend unless you do taxi ride. The hotel itself is cozy, they gave me a free curry, which was good. I used the laundry there, no issues, clothes came out clean and the dry dried my clothes great. Convince store 3 min away. Staff is sweet, and even though I know no Japanese, felt very much understood by them. Recommend, will come again, and hopefully stay longer, as there is so much to do in Niigata.
