25.09.09 We chose this hotel mainly for the parking close to the city. It was very convenient with the main street 10 minutes walk away. There were a lot of places to eat close by but there is a great bar "The Rogue and Vagabond" that has food and live music virtually out the back gate. Even though these are close by our room was quite, the bed was comfortable and it even had cooking facilities which was great to make a quick meal. It has a lift for access to your room if you need it. It was was also an easy 10 minute drive to the ferry on the last day to cross to the south island.
