24.09.12Hands down the best part of our trip to Japan. Authentic experience, amazing food, calming and relaxing. If you get the chance you should 100% stay here. Calming, relaxing and zen.

24.07.09This place was perfect for visiting Minobu-san! Very easy for western travelers. Great vegetarian kaiseki dinner and breakfast. Also nice option for private bath. Great location for getting to the main Kuonji temple for morning services. They have lots of other activities too - wish we could've stayed for longer!

23.08.06Cool location, great dinner with a huge variety of vegetarians selections, and most importantly the beer they brew is amazing. The plum lambic beer by far the best beer I've had in Japan and in my top 10 beers of all time and I've tried over 3000+ different beers according to my Untappd app. Definitely recommend on getting a taxi from the station.

22.12.13Very hospitable and helpful staffs. Thanks for everyone who made my trip so meaningful - especially Zeko-san and Fumi-san. Food is yummy. The winter is so warm, and the dark path was lit by a simple light of enlightenment :) heading to Kuonji in the early morning. Many thanks to Fumi-san for helping me with my luggage and sending me off via the steep "short cut". GREAT and memorable experience.
