My stay at Cartagena Plaza Hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The location alone is a huge advantage right in the heart of Bocagrande, just steps from the beach, shops, and great restaurants. It made exploring Cartagena incredibly easy and enjoyable. The staff truly made the experience memorable. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Whether it was recommendations for local attractions or quick assistance with small requests, they always went above and beyond with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with great views that made waking up each morning a treat. Housekeeping kept everything spotless throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. The breakfast buffet was another highlight plenty of variety, fresh options, and a lively atmosphere to start the day. The rooftop pool area was perfect for relaxing, offering a beautiful view of the city and ocean. Overall, Cartagena Plaza Hotel delivered an excellent experience: great service, ideal location, and a welcoming environment. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Cartagena.

I stayed a few nights and I should have a checked that it is a family oriented hotel. Too crowded. Too many kids. I dont think it should be rated that high. Breakfast is very basic. If you’re coming with a family and willing to be surrounded by people, this might be your option. If not, if you’re looking for some quiet time, this isn’t your hotel. You better stay closer to the walled city.
