Hotels in the area are pricey. This inn was more moderately priced. It was clean, quiet, and safe, all important when traveling with kids. The room had a Keurig, microwave, and mini fridge (which wasn't very cold). It's located right near a strip mall with Target and plenty of dining options. Would stay there again!

We were there with the family for many days. The Internet stopped working at 7 PM until 11 PM each day. The owner was discourteous and deceitful. Apparently this is common, too many guests and not enough bandwidth. I could go on, but why bother. Horrible experience.

This is certainly a 2 star motel - don't expect anything fancy or flashy. The rooms are very small but that didn't bother us. There was a leak in the shower arm that soaked our towels, unknowingly. No fun to dry off with a wet towel. That kind of stuff needs to be inspected between guests. Microwave & fridge in room. The bed was not comfortable.. we both woke up with back & neck pain. They absolutely need to upgrade their mattresses. 2 of the towels had hairs on them - that were clearly not ours but cleanliness otherwise was as expected. GREAT location, sooo many fantastic restaurants within walking distance. But this motel is off the main road, no way to avoid the sound of traffic. Staff at check in were extremely friendly & welcoming. Would stay again but I'd ask for extra towels upon arrival so you have spares. And go on a non holiday weekend when rates are more affordable

No frills here, just what you hope to find when you pull into a motel parking lot for the night. Nice helpful staff, extremely clean room, convenient location.

Very basic motel, but Monterey is an expensive place to stay, and this is a good option for trying to stay within a budget. The inside of the rooms are much nicer than it appears on the outside. Our room and bathroom were clean and updated. The room wasn’t super spacious and there was no continental breakfast or coffee (there’s coffee in the front office, but it was always closed in the mornings). For the price, we’d stay again for sure!
