Dated hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Old broken pool beds, happy dogs dressed in nappies in the walk way bark at every guest from morning to midnight (I had to ask for the dogs to be moved because they kept me awake) Room has wallpaper peeling off, dirty marks on walls, ball of hair in the shower, safe didn’t work, sticky tape with notes on every single wall looked tacky. The bathroom was NOTHING like the photos. Mouldy shower curtain. To leave the property you have to walk through 2 streams of water - slippery and smelly. The cafe was the most over priced food I ate anywhere in Thailand. The portion was tiny and when I asked why the picture of the food is so big any my food was only 3 mouthfuls - she said “that’s just for pictures” None of the pictures match anything. From food to room to quality and cleanliness: it was like a dystopian version of what once was a nice hotel. Every floor looks a mess with the cupboards open randomly and stuff left around. Fair walk from food options If they have the money to put dogs in a tiny house with brand new split system aircon - they have money to make necessary updates to this hotel. The dog house looks fresh and modern compared to this broken down hotel

Staff were helpful though and tried their best. The Cups laundry was great and nice to get a beer but really would have been better if they opened at 9am rather than midday. My mine gripe was a room facing a construction site for 6 days. It would have been okay if room rate was reduced. Too far out from Fisherman's Village for walking as a solo traveller. I will not return.
