The hotel is clean, staff is friendly, food and drinks taste good. I’d recommend

I had made an error in my booking, which was immediately resolved by the staff upon arrival (with no charge). Breakfast is varied and the rooftop terrace bar has a great hot tub with the best views in Perreira. It is located right in the city's principal square. Staying here exceeded my expectations.

It was ok, but I was charged taxes on top of the taxes I was already charged on Agoda

I would suggest you seriously consider looking for a different hotel. I am Canadian and the front desk with support from the GM tried to manipulate me into paying an additional tax or 240,000 pesos for a 2 night stay. Claiming the stamp on my passport was part of the reason. I showed them that I had already paid the taxes including VAT through the app. On top of that they tried to charge me for restaurant service for 300,000. We never ate in the restaurant or had room service. Absolutely a scam.
