26.05.12Great place and location very clean and good breakfaast
26.05.03The first thing I would’ve wished I would’ve been told about this place is that they would’ve been a complementary three string of condoms, thank God, unused in my “freshly” made bed. When I reported this to staff, they took them from me and said I should’ve used them offering no discount no Room change and pretty much nothing but a snide remark.
Additionally, to get any of the appliances to work I had to literally figure out what plugs into what, including that triple strip of power strips that have been joined through the wall walls drilled holes to reach the one outlet under the sink. Additionally, the owner entered the room a day prior to my checkout when I clearly had a do not disturb sign on it. This is the second time he had done this as I had had to had my entry card renewed every morning.
He then called me more than a full day before my checkout timeand then threatened me saying that if I did not show up and pay him $1000 for “permanent damages” he would call the police on me and let them settle the matter. I have nothing to hide.
, but I am a young solo Brown traveler so involving the police is never ideal situation when it comes to a business owner so I did the second best thing I involved my white mother. (I say this with the most love in the world) No damage was really there. My mother cleaning what the room Service made should’ve done in five minutes forced the owner to reduce his thousand dollar threat to not only no threat at all, but were refunding my security deposit. Perhaps the only real damage from the stay was for a slightly bent ironing board that would not close (broken in that of itself (lol!). I would like to point out. We are both Indian so as much as it is assumed sometimes that we look out for our own all he saw was the 20 something year-old that he could hustle out of $1000 fearing that I would be afraid of the police. Imagine all the tenants and residence who do not have mothers who are caring and have the time to come down and deal with the situation themselves. Reprehensible. As for what he thinks of the state of the Room when he entered, I had over two days more of my stay to clean up whatever pillows were on the floor so he had no right to make any assessment nor to charge me until my checkout date and I had a chance to clean it up myself as my mother seemed to be able to do in five minutes, which probably would’ve taken me 20 since I’m not nearly as skilled.
Best wishes,

26.04.26This location is great, walking distance to Downtown Campbell and the Pruneyard and central to many other places. Decent hotel for the price. And breakfast is actually breakfast... Eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancakes!
26.03.26The Campbell inn was clean and affordable. The front desk was courteous and helpful.
26.03.24Definitely needs a complete renovation. Old gross carpet in the rooms. The breakfast was basic and you have to have a voucher to even get it. Not allowed to take food back to room to eat. There is a pool and hot-tub so that was ok. I will not be staying there again and would not recommend it.
