I recently stayed at Soggiorno Santa Riparata in Florence, and it was a highly disappointing experience. The room was vastly overpriced for what was offered. It was poorly maintained, with mold and broken tiles that made the stay uncomfortable and unappealing. There was no internet available in the room, which was incredibly inconvenient. The facilities were lacking, and the TV was a tiny 20-inch model that seemed outdated. The old windows did nothing to protect from outside noise, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. It felt like the management was taking advantage of the high demand in Florence by charging exorbitant prices for subpar accommodations. The lack of maintenance and care for the property was evident, and it was frustrating to see such disregard for guests' comfort and safety. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. It's unfortunate to see such potential wasted due to neglect management Shame I can't share here pictures we took.

The hotel is overpriced for what you get. After staying here we moved onto Rome where we stayed in much better conditions for less per night. We have stayed in quite a few budget accommodations and don't expect a lot, this place isn't getting the basics rights. We experienced a constant sewer gas smell in our room. The wifi is only accessible from outside the room and the shower needs a serious clean. The owner is nice enough. He doesn't speak much English at all but knows how to convey the important stuff. Overall I believe there is better value for money out there.
