Need more good window cleaning and grade up for the balcony chairs. There is only one little spoon, would be great if more cutlery 😉
26.04.27 Swimming pool could turn into a pre heated pool. Spa pool could be more hot. But other than that service and everything else was excellent.
26.04.08 The Copthorne is in such a lovely location, and the pool and spa are fantastic. It’s a great getaway treat. The staff are fantastic and will provide you with whatever is needed even without prompting.
I did find it rather annoying how the doors to the rooms slam and make the whole place shake; the property definitely suffers from the NZ terrible building standards of pre-2010. Paper thin walls and windows and heavy doors do not work well together. No chance of a sleep in when kids are around slamming doors and screaming. A great spot for kids though for sure! Kids were clearly enjoying themselves.
26.04.06 Lovely hotel in a quiet location, good pool though very cold but with a stunning sea view. Only complaint is my room was full of bugs - cockroaches, flies, spiders. It’s in a rural location but some sort of fumigation etc needs to be carried out
