Fantastic staff (shoutout to my boy Jerry), comparable to 5 star hotels. Location is not in the city center, not loud, not a lot of stuff going on, depends if that's what you want. You'll need to taxi (10-20 mins) to reach food spots

오랜만에 가족과 해외여행 왔는데 위치는 조금 애매했지만 택시로 이동하면 별로 안 걸리고 내부도 깔끔하게 유지되는 것 같아서 만족했습니다.

I recently stayed at Sofitel The North Bund Shanghai as a couple and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable. The highlight of our visit was definitely the staff. They were friendly and attentive, and I would especially like to commend the concierge, Jerry, who was extremely helpful with assisting us in arranging parcel delivery—his service really stood out and made things much easier for us. However, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The room felt quite stuffy during the winter, as the central air conditioning could not be adjusted to our preference. Additionally, the hotel deposit is relatively higher compared to other hotels, which may be something to take note of. Overall, despite a few minor inconveniences, we still had a good stay and would consider returning in the future. Rating: 7.5/10

I had a really great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The room was modern, comfortable, and always kept very clean, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the time there. All the amenities were excellent as well. The room service and laundry were very convenient, and the buffet breakfast had a great selection each morning. Overall, we felt very well looked after. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, though we had to request for a room change due to tobacco smell. Aside from that, no issues at all.
