Overall had a great stay! Started off a bit rocky since we had quite a bit of luggage so I used the luggage cart and was directed to the elevator, only to learn that the elevator was not connected to the room they had put us in. That would seem to indicate a level of unfamiliarity with the property regarding that staff member, as she should have told us upon assigning that room that there was no elevator access. Unfortunately had to struggle initially to get all the luggage to the room from that point after locating the appropriate staircase to our wing of the property. Things got better from there luckily. We were celebrating our honeymoon and were delighted to find a bottle of wine and a nice card from the property congratulating us!We enjoyed the hot spring and pool areas immensely, and the relaxing stay was exactly what we needed to follow up the hectic wedding weekend we had just come off of. Special shoutout to Phil and Peter who were completely on point for the complimentary shuttle service for the property. Especially Phil, who went above and beyond at every occasion to make us feel welcomed knowing that we were celebrating our honeymoon. I think he truly exemplifies what the property is all about and I cannot compliment him enough for his kindness and professionalism. I would certainly recommend Pillar and Post Inn and would highly consider staying here again next time I visit Niagara on the Lake.
