location is excellent. when you reached zurich airport, look for the tram outside the airport and tram #10 is the one you need to ride. there is a station that will pass by the hotel directly so it is very convenient the guy staff on morning duty (thin one without glasses) is superb and hospitable. he deserves to be in the hotel industry because he has the compassion for tourists. he made sure that even if our room is not yet ready (we arrived morning which is before standard check in time), he made sure to feel us welcome. he offered to keep our luggage first so we can tour the city while waiting for our room but we opted to wait. he tried his best to get our room early. an hour early before checkin time. we asked if we can borrow charger as we still do not have the power adapter suitable to use in Switzerland and he lent us. he also gave us welcome bottled water. the lady manager is also commendable. she is hospitable and warm and she asked us from time to time if everything is alright. whilst the manager and the guy were nice and warm, the evening duty personnel is super rude. he is as cold as an ice and even irritates you every single time. he does not belong to the hotel industry and hopefully the management notices it. on our first night we asked for restaurant recommendation for dinner and he was very sarcastic and racist. we even waited thinking he was printing something for us but we were wrong as he just ignored us after his racist remarks and we let it go. we also asked where to get water and again he was so rude and sarcastic but we let it go. on the second night, we just asked if there is microwave because we had leftover pizza from lunch that we plan to reheat. it's a simple yes or no answer but instead he had a lot of rude comments to say. he answered us back that there is none and we cannot cook there or in room. i said we don't plan to cook we just think to warm the pizza. he said again if you want to eat then go to a restaurant! the next day we were about to check out and was surprised he was still the one there (as hoping the other nice guy is in charge during morning but maybe he was off that day). we waited around 20mins so we can speak to manager about our experience with the rude guy but she was super busy on the phone) so we had no choice but to check out with that rude guy again. but we were so surprised how nice he speaks that morning even saying like perfect i hope you guys had wonderful stay, totally different from the 2 days experience we had with him. we were thinking that probably since the manager is around during day time that is why he has a different persona and when manager is not around at night he can be super rude

Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Personally don’t really like this hotel. The room is pretty small, the moment I step into the room, I told my husband I want to look for other hotel 😅 not worth the money. But i love the spread of the breakfast.

Booked this hotel in a hurry. There are others in much central location. Small size room. Guest still smoking despite non smoking policy. Lift too slow. Breakfast was great though. Hotel located uphill, so be prepared.
