26.03.23Just lovely change from Tofino which we love, but the cliff top walks are amazing and the nearest flat sandy beach is only a 15 drive towards Tofino.
26.01.09 We planned to stay a couple nights and book spa services. They did not notify clients when booking the hotel was closing for several days. We were unable to enjoy any amenities. Refused to give a refund so we could stay somewhere else.
25.11.12 I recently stayed at Black Rock resort with a girlfriend. The scenery is amazing, waves crashing against rocks; views of ocean for miles, lots of walking/hiking trails, etc...the room was comfortable; we had a small balcony to enjoy the view. Check in time was 5pm!! we arrived at 3:30pm. This would be my main complaint for the $$ you are paying to enjoy the resort. We were able to use the hottub while we waited which was nice, although not alot of room for more than 5-8 people at a time between the 2 tubs. Would be great if they could expand the pool area. Would also recommend going back to Nespresso coffee makers vs French Press and providing better quality pool towels. Thx
25.10.19 Staff was fun and friendly. Location is excellent for a short stay.
25.04.21 The hotel has a lot going for it — great views, a convenient location, and genuinely friendly staff. However, for the price I paid, I was disappointed that there was no daily room service included. Also worth noting: while the hotel has two restaurants, they share the same kitchen and menu, which limits dining variety a bit. Still, overall a pleasant stay.
