26.02.11We had a wonderful stay at Sambor Village! The staff are exceptionally kind, attentive, and thoughtful, the lush garden is incredibly relaxing, and the food is excellent.
I especially appreciated the hotel’s genuine commitment to social, ethical, and environmental responsibility — from fair treatment of staff to mindful efforts to reduce their environmental footprint and the use of locally sourced, sustainable materials.
We stayed for three nights with a toddler, who absolutely loved the child-friendly and welcoming atmosphere. While many visitors seem to stop over for just one night, I would highly recommend staying longer to truly soak up the peaceful vibe of Sambor Village and explore the surrounding area of Kampong Thom. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!
25.03.24L'hôtel a lui seul vaut de passer par la région. Exceptionnel. Les grandes chambres sont magnifiques le jardin et la piscine également. Des bicyclettes sont proposées gratuitement.
24.10.24We came to Kampong Thom to see the temples of Sambor Prei Kim. The temples were a highlight of our trip and our two night stay at Sambor Village was fantastic. Beautiful riverside location in a relaxing garden setting. The pool was a wonderful place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff is very welcoming and professional. Very good food and drink. Definitely THE place to stay in Kampong Thom.
23.04.11Cosy place to relax over a weekend or even for longer duration. The owner is an expert in the local community and the history of Cambodia though she is a Japanese (fluent both in English and Khmer). You can learn a lot from her if you are lucky to find her during your stay!
22.10.14Only one night stay in Kampong Thom, it is one of the good hotel.
