26.04.19This property offers great value for money with spotles cleanliness and friendly, helpful staff.
26.03.01Hotel Bahia is great value, especially when visiting the island on short stays. Located a few blocks from ferry terminal, cart rentals and main shopping area w restaurants (easy walking distance). Rooms are clean and functional. Bedding and pillows need upgrading.
26.02.27Convenient location but noisy (overrun with golf carts) as it is right in main drag. Quick walk from ferry.
Facility was a bit dated (not really like the photos). Rusty hardware in bathroom, mirror was failing, stained sheets, etc. Had to ask each day to replenish coffee, no cups in room. Bare bones for amenities. Our flight was delayed by 6 hours which meant a very late arrival. I tried calling the hotel numerous times- no answer. Tried emailing to published contact addresses and all were kicked back. How does one contact the hotel?!
Staff: Pleasant enough but generally indifferent. Did not go out of their way for guests. Daily maid service was provided but not very good.
26.01.19Great location nearby to the beach, 2 minutes from ferry. Walking distance to Aki supermarket, pharmacy, Dulzura Argenta coffee and bakery, many restaurants, street food, large and comfy beds and huge shower, quiet place and staff is very helpful and polite. My husband and I really enjoyed this place and recommend.
25.12.14The receptionist not only gave us very good check-in instructions but also took a lot of time to cater to our curiousity about Mexico's weather, nature and society and Isla Mujeres. All of this in perfect English which was surprisingly hard to find in Cancun. Only downside is that the good beach takes about 8min walking and the pool wasn't heated which seems to be common with most hotels.
