Near station

This room in particular was sorta odd, I mean there was just the two of us, so the space was HUGE! I also did not like the pillows. BUT, other than that, location of the hotel was great, staff were very kind with my broken Japanese, and the amenities were grade A.

I was a little worried that his hotel looked a little "outdated" from the photos. However, the real experience was better than the photos, which was a wonderful surprise. Me and my husband stayed here to snowboard. We had no idea there was a Rental shop RIGHT on the property of the hotel. It was SO CONVENIENT. There was no lines, the people there were kind. AND! They provide a shuttle and pick-up to the ski-lifts. THAT WAS GREAT! I would definitely stay here again!

I had a great stay at Yuzawa Grand Hotel. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, which made traveling around the area really easy. The highlight for me was the onsen clean, relaxing, and perfect after a day in the snow. The meals were also excellent, especially dinner, with a wide variety of delicious Japanese dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for a relaxing stay. Overall, a great choice if you’re visiting Yuzawa, especially for a ski trip or a relaxing getaway.

I had a pleasant stay at Yuzawa Grand Hotel and there were several things I really enjoyed about the property. The rooms are very big and spacious, which made the stay extremely comfortable, especially compared to many typical hotel rooms in Japan. There was plenty of space to relax and store luggage without feeling cramped. The onsen baths were also very nice, clean, and relaxing—perfect after a long day of travel or exploring the area. One thing the hotel could improve is the slope in front of the hotel entrance. It can feel quite dangerous, especially during winter when the ground may be icy or slippery. It would be much safer and more convenient for guests if stairs were built alongside the slope to provide a more stable way to walk up and down. Overall, the hotel offers spacious accommodation and enjoyable onsen facilities, and with a safer entrance design it would make the experience even better for guests.
