The Hotel Staff do their best, polite and helpful, however, there is an antagonistic approach from the Reception Staff and Male Manager. The food ( steak ) was inedible, it was rushed in order to close the restaurant. The request was for med rare on the very bloody side, I was presented with a piece of shoe leather. The room is adequate, but 1 x Bottle of comp water.Wi fi connection and Hotel introduction was not forthcoming, all by request. The worst item was being woken up at 6 am by a truck circling the Hotel spraying the garden outside my terrace with insecticide, covering my swimming costume and the doors. I informed reception that I did not use air cond, and left the doors open at night. Perhaps they need to issue gas masks on checking in.An altogether horrible accommadation. The breakfast was very good, but that’s not hard to do in Sicily/ Italy as all of the Hotels emphasise wonderful breakfasts. I have travelled to 100 countries, this is a 2 star hotel and one of the least hospitable.
